Patd Aug 6 1889 Antique glass lion candy dish open web rare unusual

I am not an expert in glass however this piece is very old and very good quality.
I carefully inspected every inch of this piece and it is perfect. However, there is a straw mark On The bottom of the glass dish part that is shown clearly in the photographs. I inspected this with a magnifying glass and it is definitely not a crack yet just the way the glass came out of the mold. Other than that… Perfect… Quality… Stunning…
My grandmother was a collector and when I was helping her go to the store and taking her to the doctor… She gave me this beautiful piece and told me it was very rare… I’ve had this piece for many years and finally decided before I break it to list it.
It looks like Lalique… The lion is so quality and the open weave glass looks stunning. This is truly an amazing piece of art class.
It has a patent date under the lien on the inside dated August 6, 1889. Very nicely done… Beautiful markings…
As I am inspecting this piece I am noticing the exceptional quality… Beveled edges… Any detail that looked like quality, Very very nice.
I have this packed with great care. If you look at the last photograph, you will see it is double boxed… Triple box… And protected for worldwide shipping. I will use postal insurance… So please be confident and bid if you feel this piece deserves to be in your collection. I looked at the highest prices of Cambridge glass and it fits in that category. It’s all about the quality and the age and the complexity of this piece that makes it. But you decide.
