    Description

Cambridge #E762 Elaine Etch #3400 Oil Cruet with Original HTF Stopper
This popular pattern was made by the Cambridge Glass Company from 1934 to the 1950's. The cruet is most often seen with a pointed stopper, but this one has the lesser seen rounded stopper. It is pictured in the line 3400 Cambridge catalogs. The complete item number used by Cambridge was 3400/143 or 3400/193. Both numbers appear in the catalogs and I see no difference in the pictures or description. Both are labeled as 6 oz. oils.
The bottle is in excellent condition with
no chips or cracks or cloudiness. The stopper has a shallow chip on the tip of the stopper-it can't be seen when the stopper is in place. See the last photo. The stopper fits perfectly - they were ground to fit at the factory.
The bottle is approximately 4 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" with the stopper in place.
I rarely describe vintage china & glassware as perfect since it will acquire some use marks even from sitting on a shelf for most of its life. Vintage china & glassware may also have small bubbles, mold seams and marks that are inherent in the making of the item. I try to describe any issues that I consider more than average wear and certainly will point out any damage that I find.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or would like additional pictures.
I have listings for other items. My eBay store is Glass Mountain Antiques.  Click on the above link to check out my other items. I am happy to reduce the shipping if you purchase more than one item and the items can be combined in one box. Ask for a revised invoice before paying when buying multiple items.
I pack everything with great care.  I use recycled material when I can, but mainly have to buy bubble wrap and peanuts. Your shipping cost is shown in the auction listing before you bid and is based on the shipping rates from my home to yours as computed by the eBay shipping calculator.  All of my items are unique. I weigh each item and then add one or two pounds for the estimated weight of the box and packing material. The shipping calculator is usually very close
to the actual amount of the shipping.
I inspect items carefully for any damage and try to describe the auction items clearly and accurately.  I will gladly refund your bid price if an item differs significantly from my description.  Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt to receive a refund.  Please contact me if you have any problems with my auction item.
