Everglade was introduced into the Cambridge line in 1929.  The major production period for most of the items made was 1930 to 1940. Everglade
was a stunning pattern that incorporated many different designs
.  Large leaf designs, floral motifs, marsh scenes with swans, and Indians on horseback hunting buffalo are the major themes.  Pieces were heavy and the designs were well thought out, with a lot of detailing integrated into the shapes. Many of the items offered were large centerpiece sets and vases meant to be used as center table settings. The heavy designs were formulated with special treatments in mind. Pieces can be found with acid treatments, silver and enamel decorations.
