    Description

    Pair of elegant amber glass candle holders made by Cambridge Glass Co. in the mid-20th century.  This style is #628 and features a large round base and a round collar. Each holder measures 3 1/2" tall and 4 3/4" in diameter across the base.  One of them has a bubble near the stem (common manufacturing defect, see photo #3) and a couple of tiny scratches on the top of the base, and the other one has 3 1" long superficial scratches through the middle of the top of the base (see last 2 photos). As these scratches are on the base, they can not be seen when the holders are on display, and there are no chips or cracks. Amber is one of my favorite glass colors from this era and this is a gorgeous, heavy pair that would add elegance to any table!
