About Crown Tuscan
Henry Hellmers, a graduate of the University of Michigan, arrived at the Cambridge Glass Company in 1930 and worked there until 1932. One of the fruits of his labor at Cambridge was Crown Tuscan, introduced during the summer of 1932. Crown Tuscan is a "pinkish" color that ranges from opaque to translucent. Crown Tuscan was manufactured until the factory closed in 1958.
